35% More Money | 50% Less Work
Recently the city of Niagara Falls has made a motion to opt out of the entire region's waste collection program in order to provide this public service itself.
There's a new contract with Emterra losing their position handling the waste. With the proposal brings 2 new companies; GFL Environmental & Miller Waste Systems.
Why is this such a big deal? Well let's just say they expect a 35% raise for 50% less work. The new schedule they're implementing is garbage bag collection will be every 2 weeks with recycling & compost staying every week.
