Our 2024 Season has only 4 remaining spots available. Thank-you for the immense support to our snow removal service! Sign-Up Q: How do I sign up? A: You can call or text (905)321-3201 during business hours, e-mail 24/7 & even book servicing with-in our website. Q: Do we sign a written agreement? A: Agreements have been adjusted for the payment method in the new season & can be provided if you would like the service provided to be more official. Q: Do I have to sign up for the entire Winter season? A: Our season coverage is as early as November 1st to April 1st & won't affect pricing considering it is calculated per snow fall. You can however sign-up for our season rate if desired. Seasonal Section - Q: What if I do not want to have per-use snow removal? A: We recently opened up a few spots for season rate. Q: How many spots are available for seasonal rate? A: These are extremely limited & we only have 4 spots remaining for our route. Contact us today to get on the list before they're occupied. Service Q: Is your snow clearing service actually completely unlimited? A: The 2023-24 Season we are not offering unlimited snow removal contracts. Instead it will be per snow fall basis like how we charge for lawn care services. Q: Can you shovel our walkways, sidewalks, steps, entrances, etc? A: All walkways, sidewalks, stairs & steps are included in the driveway clearing. Q: Do you offer any on-call services? A: For the late planner, we do keep availability to the public & even provide emergency snow removal as well. Q: What equipment will be used? A: We use shovels & snow blowers for all snow types, leaf blowers for powdery snow, pickaxes for hardened snow & ice and finally salt or sand upon requested. We do not use snow plows. Q: How do you determine the cost & service provided? A: We obtain the address required & use google maps to plan out the service. Then we determine spots desired to clear. Finally, during the day we have to service, we take a picture of the snow being removed to use our calculator on the website www.alpha-co.ca/snow-removal.(http://www.alpha-co.ca/snow-removal) Q: Do you provide salt or sand? A: Alpha Co. can provide salt or sand per request & will charge accordingly for it. Not included in the removal price. We do not charge for laying it out. Q: Can you service apartment buildings? A: We have large lots that we handle & need to be discussed over the phone to determine car space rates. Seasonal Section - Q: Does servicing change with a seasonal price plan? A: For the most part, no; although it is a contract both parties agree on & with key elements varying the premium quoted. Q: Is the seasonal rate unlimited? A: Considering it is a signed contract agreed upon both parties, we can adjust the premium accordingly but the default is unlimited & much easier to handle value wise. Q: What does an unlimited contract look like in terms? A: Just with every other service, we handle the snow removal of all walkways, stairs, parking spots etc... even if it snows every day of the month for any snow depth as well; for the determined months agreed upon. Service - Time Q: When do you come out to remove snow? A: We typically start at 5am until the route is finished. Starting in St. Catharines & working around the Niagara Region. Q: How immediate after a snowfall event do you service? A: In Ontario, the home owner is liable after 24 hours of an event. Our service starts immediately after snow is slowing down after 6". Anything under 6" we wait up to 24 hours to service because it can wash, melt or drift away. Seasonal Section - Q: When does the seasonal rate clients get serviced? A: Everyone gets serviced based upon where they are on the route. To keep everything fair & operating cost down, we do not offer increased premium for prioritised servicing. Pricing Q: Do you offer any discounts? A: For clients that provide multiple properties to manage, we have bulk pricing for all of our services. Lawns for lives also is an ongoing year-round way for us to give back to the heroes in our community. Q: What is the average cost for service? A: With a 2 car driveway and the average snow being removed about 6" would be $38. Seasonal Section - Q: What is the average cost for the seasonal rate? A: For 2 spot driveway (and all walkways, stairs, sidewalks etc.. included) we charge starting from $300/mo. Q: When are payments required for the seasonal rate? A: Upon refined contract & signing the first initial payment of 65% upfront with the remaining balance February 1st. Public Poll
